Things that have de-flippin-lighted me this week:
-
My lucky star wanting to start a book club. I was confused since we both love books, but always read very different kinds. She had the great idea to -duh!- go back and forth between our list of books to read. I am so excited to start!

I have already found something that will be making an appearance at my next birthday:
ICE CREAM PIÑATA.
Here is the photo credit and tutorial on how to make your own ice cream pinata. Mine will most likely be turquoise and rhinestone, that’s an ice cream flavor?
-
One of my friends sent me this link of garage sale photos and said she thought of me instantly when she saw it. How did she know how much I LOOOOVE these photos?
-
Going back through the smitten kitchen fall archives, I found these pumpkin cupcakes with maple cream cheese frosting. Hello fall, my secret lover.

Putting together my squished penny collection gives me such a great feeling of…nerdydom.

For a while now, I have been thinking about this twitter update, sent by Danielle LaPorte (if you don’t read her website White Hot Truth, get on it!): “What do people thank you for most often? (therein lies your genius.)” I cannot stop thinking about what people thank me for: intangible muse-like creativeness. It feels really good to be the person people think of and ask when they need to do something creative, or want advice. I’m still racking my brain trying to figure out how to harness that to benefit more people.

Two cool movies I will hopefully watch this weekend: Easy A and Bitch Slap, which have two of my favorite strong females in film: Emma Stone and Zoe Bell. I never get tired of talking about Zoe Bell. Never.
