I used my digital camera to take a picture through the viewfinder of my Argusflex camera. This style actually has a name: “Through the Viewfinder” and it is very popular in certain circles of photographers. There are whole sections on flickr where people post photos of their rigs, elaborate and bare bones alike. It is fascinating. Here is a zoomed-out picture:
