End of Month Tally – June

I didn’t want to make a collage, so here’s a picture of me with hungry eyes.

Books I Read:

Ministry of Fear and Wicked Bugs. Very excited because I have already ordered my next stack of books and cannot wait to wile away these hot days cooling off with a good book.

Movies:

Nighthawks, Demolition Man, Cobra, Cliffhanger, do you see a theme here? I think when I grow up I want to be Stallone historian. Or a Stallone character translator. Or both. I guess I also saw Flakes, but I can’t really say I enjoyed it. We watched a lot of TV shows though, The Beau had never watched Arrested Development, so we blew through that super quick. We also started Samantha Who? and Louie. Sidenote, Samantha Who? is surprisingly good, despite the ABC goof troop music.

Charity:

I donated a bunch (probably hundreds) of plastic bags for dog parks. I know that’s not really a charity, but I had them, they needed them – it counts a little bit, right? 🙂 And there’s nothing I hate more than people not picking up after their dogs. Especially when there’s a mastiff-sized poo on a trail that you know didn’t come from a horse.

Budget Analysis:

Poor, in every sense of the word. I have been saving for my 6-months insurance bill that’s coming up in August and it’s driving me crazy. I have a list of things to buy for craft projects, but then I think about the move in December and try to figure out if I really need to buy stuff or not. Of course the answer is not, but, come on, CRAFTINESS – it’s in my blood.
