Really, I just wanted an excuse to post this photo before Election Day, but I thought I’d throw some links in here for a little something extra. Let’s go!

♠ Being For the Benefit of Mr. Kite. The infamous poster that sparked John Lennon’s song was only seen in a few photos, and one man decided to reproduce the poster in a similar letterpress style. See the process in the video on the Mr Kite site.

♠ Forget carrier pigeons – here in the desert, I am all about “Via Camel.”

♠ Joanna from Cup of Jo is doing weekly fall challenges and I am hooked. #2 was to memorize a poem, and while I haven’t quite mastered it yet, this challenge has inspired me to use it as a something to challenge my pen pals too as well.

♠ Speaking of pen pals, I’d like to announce that one of my closest friends (even though she lives 3000 miles away!) has started a letter writing club, called the Order of the Envelope. As her Southwest Secretary, it is my job to recruit everyone I can. Even if you don’t live in NYC, you can join and be on the list to receive snail mail love!
