I have been caught completely unaware that today is the 76th Annual National Doughnut Day!

Luckily, National Donut Day is something I celebrate whenever I want. But most importantly, I have ideas. I have a garland to decorate my house in evergreen doughnuts, tips for a fancy donut party, and two recipes (one with the secret ingredient – NUTMEG!) to make doughnut day happen at home, at any time.

I will also watch my favorite Shirley Temple (which happens to feature Doughnuts) “Dora’s Dunking Donuts” (I started the link a few minutes in for the facial expressions when he bites the new doughnut)
