Johnny Weissmuller is best known for his role as the original Tarzan. He put his Olympic swimmer physique to good use in the African-themed movies of his day including a dozen Tarzan films and the later Jungle Jim series that ran for another 16 films. The Johnny Weissmuller Cocktail is a classic Martini with a slightly tropical twist, fitting for the Tarzan.
Ingredients:
- 1 oz gin
- 1 oz light rum
- 1 oz lemon juice
- 1 tsp powdered sugar
- dash of grenadine
Preparation:
- Pour the ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice cubes.
- Shake well.
- Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
