August Break, Day 3: Yellow.
So, I thought instead of yellow, I’d go for Topaz.
This is Topaz. He is a crisis response dog for the city. When there is a fire or other sort of traumatic event, he is brought in, especially with children, to take the person’s mind off the shock and confusion. Here is some more information about Crisis Response. I spent my early morning photographing dozens and dozens of dogs for the annual Dog Days of Summer event in Historic Downtown Glendale. It is probably my favorite event (because…dogs) and probably the only event I am willing to get up and work at 6am (again…dogs).
