6 Days of Gift Giving Part 5 & 6

Oof – I got behind in my guides, so I am combining the last two days.

This is the day, all about media and awesome last-minute gifts. Music, movies and paper goods are not only something easily accessible, but something that could be a very thoughtful gift.

Die Hard, Love Actually, Shop Around the Corner, Home Alone are some great movies to pick up for someone. If you aren’t sure if they have these movies already, go for Die Hard.

One of the top resolutions – besides “getting in shape” – is getting organized. A journal or planner is a great way to tell your friend “you can do it!” Some of my top choices this year are Adam JK’s Unsolicited Advice planner, Kate Spade’s agenda, and the new “turntable” Moleskine I mentioned in my last post. For someone who is more of a quick note jotter, a Field Notes 3-pack would be a stylish alternative to a cocktail napkin note. If this person is a very close friend or loved one, a customized Leisure Book would be a huge hit. Although, come to think of it, it is pretty time-consuming, so maybe save this for Galentine’s Day or a birthday.
